Antifoam agents like FoamForce® suppress surface foam to minimize air entrapment that can cause pump or spray problems and aid tank filling by reducing or preventing foaming of spray mixtures during agitation. Antifoams use a physical process (not a chemical process) to control or knock down foam. Antifoam agents are especially useful when mixing herbicides with soft water, which can cause the greatest foaming problems. The reduction of foam can decrease mixing and tank filling times, reduce the loss of crop protection products, and prevent killed vegetation when spray tanks foam over.
How to use FoamForce:
Defoamers are designed to knock down foam after it develops in the spray tank. Defoamers often contain silicone and function the same as antifoams to physically destroy foam.
Product Application:
Preventive: 1 ounce per 100 gallons of spray solution when mixing Curative: Add FoamForce® adjuvant full strength to the surface for fast foam knockdown Water hardness, temperature and individual spraytank mixtures may affect the amount needed. Adjust the rate used to achieve desired foam control.
