- Labels and SDS Forms
An insecticide should not only kill insects quickly but also continue to provide residual activity in the application area. PT 221L is a residual insecticide that provides quick kills and continues to kill insects whenever they come into the sprayed area. It comes in aerosol form, so it's easy to use for spot applications and treatments in cracks and crevices.
How PT 221L Residual Works
221L contains a synthetic pyrethroid known as lambda-cyhalothrin. It has a mode of action whereby it affects the insects' nervous system, causing paralysis upon contact or ingestion and followed by death soon after. The benefit of lambda-cyhalothrin is that it kills the insects quickly while also lingering in the target area, ensuring no future infestations.
Where to Use 221 Residual
Use 221 pressurized insecticide in and around homes and businesses to kill nuisance insects and spiders. It can be used while camping or in sensitive areas like hospitals and nursing homes, schools and restaurants.
