How Inzecto Mosquito Traps Work
Inzecto Mosquito Traps contain a larvicide and an adulticide to kill immature and adult mosquitoes. It works in two ways:
- Kills the larvae as they emerge from the eggs in the water contained inside the trap
- Kills the adults when they land or crawl on the internal area of the trap
The two ingredients used to kill the mosquitoes are pyriproxyfen and permethrin. The first is an IGR, or insect growth regulator. It's used to inhibit the growth of larvae. The second is a knockdown insecticide to kill the adults by disrupting their nervous system.
